Regional systems design

This unit designs systems in partnership with industry, academia, and citizens as needed to transform regional systems. It designs distributed resource and energy systems to make and maintain effective use of regional resources and has developed and uses an open platform for co-learning through pilot technology projects and regional workshops and symposiums.

This research unit works together with the following entities within the University of Tokyo.

• Kikuchi Laboratory at Department of Chemical System Engineering, the University of Tokyo
• Presidential Endowed Chair for “Platinum Society”, the University of Tokyo
