Abstract

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is one of the multilateral development banks, founded in 1991. EBRD is supporting countries and region in Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Southern and Eastern Mediterranean to further progress towards market-oriented economies and to promote private and entrepreneurial initiative.

At the seminar, the President will explain the EBRD’s expected roles in a current turbulent world, including EBRD’s support to Ukraine and surrounding countries after Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, EBRD’s potential roles in the reconstruction phase, and so on.
