Abstract

*This seminar will be conducted in Japanese.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and ICT are expected to solve problems in medical practices such as reducing doctor’s working hours and improving quality of care. While AI research and development advances with diagnostic support, many issues remain in implementation.

This seminar series aims to promote the implementation of AI in medicine by sharing current information among doctors, healthcare workers, engineers, users, policymakers, and other stakeholders.

The 8th seminar invites Dr. Kenichi Inoue (Shonan Memorial Hospital) and Dr. Hideki Ninomiya (Datack Inc.) to share their experiences. With discussants assistant Prof. Arisa Ema and Dr. Takanori Fujita, the panel will discuss how to learn AI and data science from scratch to solve problems in clinical practice.
