Overview

Our current economic system has pushed the carrying capacity of the earth system, our Global Commons, to its limit. We have only 10 years to drastically change the course if we are to pass on the healthy planet to the next generation. What actions should we take in order to pass on the global environment in a sound form to future generations and to realize a sustainable human society? Tokyo Forum 2020 Online will be focusing on “Global Commons Stewardship in the Anthropocene”. This forum will invite leaders from around the world who are active on the front lines in fields such as environment, economy, and social change, and will hold discussions aimed at the future online and distribute them to the world.
