A signing ceremony of a comprehensive cooperation agreement among Institute for Future Initiatives, the University of Tokyo and local governments in Tanegashima
Institute for Future Initiatives, the University of Tokyo and the local governments in Tanegashima (Nishinoomote city, Nakatane town, Minamitane town) concluded a comprehensive cooperation agreement, the signing ceremony was held online on November 18, 2020.
The mayors of Nishinoomote city, Nakatane town, Minamitane town and the director of Institute for Future Initiatives sighed the agreement.
The concluded agreement aims at the promotion of co-creation among the local governments, local players, universities and institutes out of the region on design of future vision and scenario planning to solve issues in Tanegashima.
12 organizations in the region and 13 universities (laboratories) out of the region participated in the open platform of the agreement as of November 18, 2020.
