Yuji Furui

Graduated from Tokyo University Graduate School of Medicine in 2000 (Ph.D.). Specializing in preventive medicine and healthcare policy. Took up post as assistant professor at the University of Tokyo Hospital in 2004. Took up post as specially appointed professor at the Policy Alternatives Research Institute in January 2018. Has also served as an expert advisor to the Cabinet Office Council on Economic and Fiscal Policy and as a visiting professor at Jichi Medical School. Main achievements include “Procedures for Creating Data Health Plans,” for the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and National Federation of Health Insurance Societies, 2017; “Healthcare Administration Advisor Course (beginner),” for the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, 2016, as supervisor; and “Staff Health is Good for Management,” for the ROUDOCHOUSAKAI Co., 2015.
