Cristian Mejia

Cristian Mejia is a Project Assistant Professor at the Institute for Future Initiatives, University of Tokyo. He conducts research in the fields of bibliometrics and scientometrics, with a special emphasis on applications in innovation management and technological forecasting. He has developed data-driven methodologies for connecting social issues with current scientific developments, in particular, to observe how the scientific community responds to pressing social demands in poverty alleviation and food security. He holds a Ph.D. in Innovation Management from the Tokyo Institute of Technology.
