Letícia Sarmento DOS MUCHANGOS

Letícia Sarmento dos Muchangos is a Project Assistant Professor at the Center for Global Commons (CGC), Institute for Future Initiatives (IFI), University of Tokyo. She focuses on applying multi-criteria decision-making and impact assessment techniques to analyse and realise sustainable life cycles of resource materials and ‘waste’. She has also interest in the circular economy transition from the perspective of the Global South. Her PhD in Environmental Engineering is from Osaka University. Before joining CGC, she worked as an Assistant Professor at Osaka University, the IFI as a Project Researcher, and at the United Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS) as a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS-UNU) Postdoctoral Fellow.
