The results of the research project “Exploration of Practical Wisdom and Resilience Overcoming Downside Risk – Collecting grassroots voices in Africa under COVID-19,” led by Project Assistant Professor Hanai, have been compiled into a new book and published by Springer.
This book presents the results of research investigating how people in seven African countries (Uganda, Ethiopia, Kenya, the DRCongo, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, and South Africa) perceive the risks of COVID-19 and how they have overcome the effects of not only the pandemic but also the government’s infection control measures.
