The 1st Science and Technology Seminar was held.

Security Studies Unit (SSU) , Institute for Future Initiatives held the first science and technology seminar by online, entitled “Synthetic Biology and Economic Security”.

reportAt the beginning of the session, Dr Matsuo explained the current status and challenges of the bioeconomy, followed by a report by Dr Tada on the ‘Impact of Synthetic Biology on Economic Security and National Security’. Finally, attendees made comments and asked questions, and opinions were exchanged from a wide range of perspectives.
