Action Items
The project will carry out the following items.
- Japan-U.S. entrepreneurial ecosystem fact-finding survey (interviews, questionnaires)
- Online Japan-U.S. seminars and international symposiums
- Compilation of policy recommendations
Specifically, researchers will be stationed in San Francisco to conduct the survey. In addition, we will hold regular startup seminars and international symposiums connecting Japan and the U.S. As for particular issues, our focus is startups related to well-being, insurance, healthcare, and aging tech. In these fields, we seek factors to promote inbound investment and outbound business and develop the concept of a data platform business ecosystem. Moreover, we discuss policies to strengthen the diversity of the ecosystem indispensable for internationalization.
